Summer Science Camp Closing Ceremony

The closing ceremonies included group presentations. Each camper chose which group they wanted to be in based on their favorite part of camp. Each group had an oral presentation and a PowerPoint.

The members of Molly's group told their favorite things and showed their Alice. Creating her Alice was one of Katherine's favorite activities, but it still didn't top rockets!










Katherine's group told us how to make a rocket. Katherine had the mic and went through the steps one by one, with her friend Angela pointing out the parts of the rocket.


















This is a model of an environmentally friendly town.













Once all the groups finished - and there were at least 10 - the campers were presented with medals and UVA Engineering caps.



Then it was off to pack up Katherine's dorm room and head back home.
