Children's Christmas Shop

The day started with snow flurries, but not enough to cancel any of our classes or activities! Just the right kind of snow, I'd say.

Tonight we had the annual Christmas Shop where the children and preschoolers come to shop for their families. Church members donate new or gently used items for the sale. All proceeds got to our global missions offering. This year we had 7 tables full of stuff! Lots of Christmas, teachers, and bath & body items. The kids pay 50 cents per item and then get to wrap the items. Afterwards they get to make crafts and decorate cookies to donate to the Sawyer House.

Here's the big elf herself, Miss Judy. She's in charge of everything! These are some of her helpers.

Will had a blast buying and wrapping, and then decorating and eating. I'm not sure if any of his cookies made it next door!

Now we get to wait until Christmas morning when we'll find out just how many items that we donated actually got to come back home!

Oh, I can see why some of those cookies might not have made it next door. I love those big fat sugar cookies!
