Hey, Tooth Fairy!

Here's Katherine before her dentist appointment. She had to have two baby teeth pulled before they'll put braces on her lower teeth. She did really well, and when the dentist had pulled the first one and asked her if she wanted to come back to have the other one pulled, she said she wanted it out today! Of course, it didn't hurt that she'd heard me tell him the same thing!

Her sisters and brother spent the time that we were in town making cards and setting the sofa up for an invalid. Katherine welcomed the attention and did not mind the spoiling at all!

Here's the after pic. You can almost see the holes in her mouth. The teeth were huge with roots twice as long as the visible enamel! Of course when it came time to put the teeth under her pillow so that they could be gathered by the tooth fairy, we could not find them anywhere! Luckily the tooth fairy will take a note of explanation.
