Project 365: Day 257 - September 13

Katherine has decided to teach herself how to knit.

It's a good thing she doesn't ask for help because I've tried three different times to learn to knit and have failed miserably every time. So far she's doing much better than I ever did. Once she gets it figured out she says she wants to make a baby bib.

Sunday addition:
Here's Katherine knitting again on Sunday afternoon - after church she repainted her hair! You might have noticed a pink tinge to Katherine's hair (and Will and Caroline's). After our pancakes Saturday, we dropped Morgan off at her school so she could ride the bus to her meet. We then had some time to kill before we had to head north. When we stopped a the grocery store we spotted the hair paint and Katherine decided it would be fun to paint her hair. Once, she did, the others wanted their hair done too. Needless to say, David was not with us. Can you imagine what he'd have said if he'd been there!!? Morgan wasn't too thrilled to see her brother and sisters show up with pink hair - she thought another color would have been better....like gold or black! I see her point, but think pink & purple were much more colorful!
