Project 365: Day 293 - October 19
Here's my finished top with border done. It felt so good to have it done I just wanted to be done with it. I left the quilt with my mom so she could have someone machine quilt it for me. Were I to hand quilt it, it might never be finished!
***Upon looking at the picture though, I've decided it that it looks unfinished. It's only supposed to have the border along the two sides and the bottom. The top edge is supposed to be hidden when the bed is made. The dilemma is whether to add the complete checkerboard border along the top or just add a strip of the green focus fabric across the top. Mom asked her quilting coffee friends and they all agreed that I needed to send along a strip of the green fabric so Mom could sew it onto the top before sending it along to the quilter.
