What I Did On My Sunday Afternoon

With her fridge cleaning behind her, Caroline joined Will in a game of croquet. They drove poor Gracie crazy with all their banging and driving the balls around the yard. We don't worry too much about driving Gracie crazy since driving us crazy is the thing she seems to do best!

After a few games they came in and built a zoo in Will's room. They had been back there for an hour when Caroline came into the kitchen with a fistful of change and announced that we all had to visit Will's zoo and that there was an admission charge. No problem if you don't have money because this zoo provides money for admission. If you planned to take any pictures there was an additional charge, also covered by the management. Caroline handed us money which we then gave to Will. He was happy to get it and then gave us his 3 second tour of the zoo.

Later they expanded their business to charging visitors to see the parking lot. It reminded me quite a bit of the undersized zoo parking lot in DC - lots of cars, few spaces and long lines.

Morgan and Katherine both took the opportunity of a quiet afternoon to finish or get ahead on homework. Morgan worked on Algebra and Katherine got ahead on her word study jobs. Both did take a break to see the zoo.
