Project 365: Day 125 - May 4

Women from ages 7 to 70 gathered at Pocahontas State Park this morning for the inaugural 5+ mile Run Like A Girl trail run. With a name like that I'm sure they had tons of interest!

They'll definitely have people come back next year! The course was fun, and the goodies were numerous. Morgan came a way with a shirt, hat, socks, decals & tons of snacks! David even got a Montrail hat for being the father of a runner!

The course was not spectator friendly so David was only able to get pictures at the start and near the finish!

Here are some runners leaving the woods.

Morgan ended up passing these two runners going over the bridge. At this point there was less than 1/4 mile to go.

Whew! The run is done! Morgan ended up third in her age group - 19 and under. Her time was just over 47 minutes!
