Which Came First?

While Keswick Chicken and her brood are traveling far and away from here, we the totally clueless, yet totally willing, are taking care of the chicken & egg detail.
We checked on the nesting mother guinea, taking care not to get too close for fear of being pecked. No new guineas yet! The egg count was five today! I had good chicken help today - Caroline & Katherine will be pros by the time the wandering brood makes it home! They fed & watered, and gave treats to all!! Katherine was sure the the chickens would like her now - I didn't know that they didn't like her before....

Will passed on the chicken-tending tasks and declared that he was going to play in the pilfered sand because Keswick Chicken told him he could! I'm pretty sure she just wants to make him an accessory after the fact.
