Gracie Chews, part one

If you look very carefully at the front edge and the side edge of the foil you'll see six empty spaces where gumdrops used to be.

This is Katherine's holiday gingerbread house. It's absolutely breathtaking with all of its color and variety of candied ornamentation. The "snow" looks all drippy and snow-like and it really does remind me of the gingerbread house in that dreadful fairy tale Hansel & Gretel (even though it wasn't snowing in the story - go figure!).

Apparently Gracie likes the house too because she cannot seem to keep herself away from it and the candy! So, out it goes!

So far Gracie has also chewed up a pencil, its soccer ball eraser, and a VBS bible memory verse rubber cactus. She has also chewed on the leg of one of our kitchen chairs. I'm hoping this list doesn't get much longer! But being a realist, please note that I've left room for more on this subject.
