Project 365: March 2

The power went out last night during a storm and around 5:30 this morning David & I were awakened by a panicked little voice yelling, "Mommeeee, my ight won't go on!" David scooped Will up and brought him into bed with us.

The little guy stayed awake for the longest time trying to understand why the power wasn't working, wanting to know when the workers would fix it, and needing to know when his "ights" would work again.

He finally did fall back to sleep. Just in time for the rest of us to crawl out of the bed. Luckily the power was back on, because without power we have no hot (or even cold!) showers!!! That alone would make me want to crawl back into the bed.
