Will's Day Off

Will stayed home today. He was so wiped out from yesterday's trauma and field hockey game, that he just wouldn't wake up in time for school.

Of course, he was wide awake just as David was leaving to take Katherine to the bus. Oh well, decision made. He got to stay home with me and watch the HVAC man come a do some more work, help me fold laundry, play play-doh, and sort sight word cards. His sight word categories included colors, body parts, people, and outside things.

After Katherine arrived home we had to run into town to give Caroline her shin guards for field hockey practice. Will and Katherine ended up playing in the van while I tried to work on completing my Bible study homework while also trying to keep one eye on Caroline's practice!

We dropped Caroline off at piano and headed home to finish getting dinner ready. With chili in the crock pot we needed to make corn muffins! Will claimed the muffin making task while Katherine got to work on her homework!
