Superhero Day

Tomorrow is Superhero Day for the Cross Country team.

The girls will all dress up in superhero-type garb and then each girl will give another girl a cape to wear for the day. We knew this day was coming, and we even bought fabric over a month ago to make a cape for tomorrow.

With all the construction mess, and plastic tarps covering everything crafty in our home, we could not find the fabric anywhere within reach! Alas, A2 will not get the black cape she was supposed to get.

Instead, she'll get a much more colorful and cozy cape! Morgan even glued large jewels on the back!

Here's a look at the front where we sewed more jewels on for decoration. Not bad for a last minute scramble!

It's much prettier than the black one would have been! Hope she likes it!
