Missions

With the Cross-Country season over, we finally made it back to Wednesday night dinner at church. After dinner the kids usually have a time for missions. Tonight Mr. Bob had them make cards and decorate cookies to to take to the Sawyer House. The Sawyer House is really two houses that are used by patients and their families while they are having treatments at the hospital.

After that fun we brainstormed ideas for mission work. The kids came up with ideas for themselves, for high school students, and for parents and grandparents. The project was a good way to think of ways little kids can help others. The end result were three circles that looked like a target - a green circle in the middle for the youngest kids, a red one next for the high schoolers, and a yellow one on the outside for the grown-ups.
