Project 365: Feb 2
Another game night...but this time we played a different game...
...SCRABBLE!!!
Look carefully at the bottom of the picture and you'll see the word that won the game - it was WEEDY!!!! Now you might not think it's a very useful word. In fact, you might never use it at all, but I still think it works. Try the yard sure is weedy or She lives over on the weedy side of town. It's a real stretch for usefulness, but "useful" is in the eye of the beholder.
And, it was useful to me since it enabled Will & me to earn 65 points to take the lead, and win the game!
The most offensive (or was it defensive? Well, it was offensive to David & Katherine since they lost a hoped-for 39 points!) move was Caroline's placement of the O under the N to block David & Katherine's planned placement of an S under ZIT. Nice work Caroline! For those who are wondering who would put the word ZIT in the board - it would be the teenager in the house. Morgan, desperate to rid herself of that 10-point Z headed right for that T with her I in tow!
Will's contribution was to drop the tiles on the floor so that I could grab Gracie to keep her from eating them!
