Project 365: May 10

I can see the wheels turning in his little head! It's so amazing to watch! As Will waited patiently for me to finish folding laundry and join him for stories, he read to himself. He pointed to the words in Brown Bear, Brown Bear by Bill Martin Jr., and illustrated by Eric Carle and read the book! Often he'd call out to me, "I can't know that word" - usually it was goldfish. I know he's not really reading yet, but it's so exciting to know it's coming. Even better is that he'll carry stacks of books with him from room to room when we're having a home day. Books and trucks make his life such a happy one!
