Okay, I was born and lived in the in the Pacific Northwest for 5 1/2 years before moving to the Midwest for one year. After that I lived in Bawlmer for a good 17 years. Surely, the 5 years I spent in North Carolina couldn't have undone all that?

I'm not complaining mind you. And really, what's to complain about? I just find it a bit fascinating how easily we adapt to our surroundings. Or, maybe I was destined to settle here because of they way I talk!
