After swim practice we headed into town to gather more supplies for
VBS and to shop for Father's Day! We checked out the party supply store and the Christian bookstore before meeting our friend Carter and his mom at
Chik-A-Fil-A (
Will's name for the home of the original chicken sandwich) for lunch.
LF and I are in charge of registration and snacks every year for
VBS so this could have been considered a business lunch, except for the fact that there wasn't anyone there to pick up our tab!

Once we ate, and visited Jo-Ann Fabrics, Carter said, "I have had enough!" and they went home. We, on the other hand, took advantage of being on that side of town and went shoe shopping. The girls leave for camp soon, and we needed to pick up a few things. We didn't want a repeat of last year when we had to stop at
Walmart on the way just to get Caroline some sneakers!

After exhausting ourselves at the shoe stores we went home, too! Once there Morgan and Will made brownies for the youth lock-in at church. Later, Will and I made another batch, which also mostly made its way to church when David went in for the 10pm - 2am
chaperone shift.
