Meet the Teachers

Whew! We made it. We met the teachers and all is well!

Will went to his old classroom and met his new teachers. He picked out his cubby and left his boxes of tissues there. He tried out all the trucks he could find and walked around the room telling anyone who'd listen about that particular aspect of the room. In the beginning he'll only have 4 others in his class. It wasn't until we got back home that he mentioned that his old teachers wouldn't be there with him. I guess he hadn't had time to think it through!

Katherine got the teacher she wanted. Unfortunately so did some of her friends, which means they won't be together. She's already working on her first day homework - a get-to-know-you bag. She's decorating the outside and then she'll put 5 items inside that describe her or things she likes. So far she's decided to include her swimming goggles, lacrosse goggles, a care bear, a book, and a magnet.
