Party! Party!

First we went to Mariah's for a very short time.

I totally goofed and had her on our calendar for Saturday instead of Sunday! When Katherine brought my error to my attention I knew we couldn't not go, so half of us went for a little while. It was hard to leave all that fun!

Our next stop was our annual church ice cream social. David usually makes the ice cream that we take. One year he made thin mint ice cream - Oh so yummy, but never to be repeated! The next year we bombed with a Samoa ice cream. This year he made peppermint ice cream.

It is so good!

There were at least a dozen types of ice cream to choose from, including mint chocolate chip, chocolate, gingersnap, pineapple, strawberry, several vanillas, banana and peppermint.

Some people didn't choose and tried them all!

After our ice cream, we were treated to some selections by a local barbershop quartet - one of the members was our host for the social!

I always love to hear them sing!

There was also a lot of swimming ... in between thunder claps and rain! That didn't stop anyone from have a great time!
