Can You Tell They Like To Read?

This is a view of the girls' library this morning. It looks like a mess, and I guess it was, but the end result was a neater, better organized library. I was able to cull through and get rid of (don't tell anyone!) 3 bags of no-longer-suitable books. I put aside a large Rubbermaid tub of books to go through for Will.

The girls would never have missed any of those books had Caroline not seen the bags in the van. She snagged one of her toddler books (and thinks I didn't notice!) but had to let the others go.

If you look carefully you can see the cement floor where we had to take up the carpet. Luckily none of the books got ruined.

By the end of the evening the carpet and floor were clear of all books, and everything that we are keeping is on the shelves. Unfortunately, there is very little room for any new books.
