Scenes from Halloween 2009

We celebrated Halloween with Carter's family again this year! We fed the kids spaghetti before sending them out to beg for candy. Then, when the boys were done, LF & I took the girls out again to double their take.

Morgan, dressed as ninja, handed out candy all evening. Caroline was some kind of gothic beauty. Katherine was Ginny Weasley, Will was Harry Potter, and Carter was Wolverine!

The evening was complete when we roasted marshmallows in the toaster oven, and LF started a fire!!

UVA v DUKE

The ball girls made their last regular season appearance today when UVA hosted Duke. The Hoos won the game 2 -1!

C14 - A Birthday Breakfast!

Normally, we wait all day until dinner time to eat a requested meal, and then have cake & ice cream, and then watch the birthday person open gifts. Today, our evening plans prevented our traditional celebration. Instead, we had cake and ice cream for breakfast. Except for Will, he had powdered donuts and ice cream.

Cub Scout Halloween Celebration

The Cub Scout Pack celebrated Halloween with a Boo House, and lots of fun games. There was a costume contest where lots of scary guys competed. Will won for the Tiger Cubs! He was Harry Potter. H1N1 won the overall contest!

UBC Fall Festival 2009

This afternoon we celebrated the season with our annual Fall festival! The kids, and some moms, came dressed for fun! There were lots of fun costumes! There was a moon bounce, corn hole, cupcake decorating, face painting, pumpkin decorating, and hayrides! There was even a fire pit for roasting marshmallows for s'mores!
