Waffles a la Grandpa

Katherine's lunch today reminded me of my Dad.

She ate a leftover (from this morning's breakfast) waffle with applesauce on top. My Dad used to eat pancakes and waffles with just about anything on top. The two things I remember him putting on top were peanut butter & applesauce - but not together. I think.

I never tried applesauce on waffles, but Katherine swears by it.
