Project 365: September 5

This is part of a painting on the wall at the Child Development Lab where my kids sometimes go to be guinea pigs for studies on how people learn. Today it was Will's turn. They showed him an object that he'd never seen before and gave it a name. After repeating the name 9 times (NINE times, people!), they moved on to another task, and then went back to the object and asked Will to name it. He did. Most kids do not. Very interesting.

He got to pick a prize for his effort. Last time it was a t-shirt, and several times before he's chosen toys (from China?) This time he picked his favorite thing of all - after dogs and trucks.
