Rocket Bye Baby

Katherine's girl scout troop had their last meeting of the year tonight. The girls rehearsed a play all year and presented it tonight. It was all about mothers - mothers of the past, including a cave mother; mothers of the present; and a mother of the future.

K was the mother of the future. She sang "Rocket bye baby, into the stars, ..." and then something about Venus and Mars! Her costume was a redesign of a Tinman costume Caroline wore many years ago! For months K's had a tag board and duct tape rocket cradle in the corner of her room. Finally we got to use it, shoot it (with a camera, of course!) and toss it!
