If it's Tuesday.....
Today the temperature was so hot that the girls were melting before they even started practice! They had a pow-wow with the coach to go over last weekend's games and then the girls ran their laps, donned their assigned colors, and got ready to scrimmage!
Katherine was paired with the coach's daughter, and though they are just one grade apart, when it comes to knowing and playing the game, there are eons between them. This K's first season and B's 5th or 6th! She's an amazing player, and it was good for K to be with her (or at least try) today.
Morgan was at practice with us and helped warm up the newbie goalie. She had fun doling out goalie advice. Caroline was there, but since we were trying out a new substitution scheme I was too busy to take pictures. Will was there too, and even picked up his stick and scooped up the ball a few times.
By the time practice ened, the thought of cooking dinner was so far from my mind that the thought of Fabio's oozed right in. Unfortunately for me (surely a relief to Fabio) we were all too sweaty to go out anywhere for dinner. So off we went to our own house, to cook in our own kitchen, and get on with our homework.
